What is a JokerCard?
JokerCard is a prepaid gift card sold across Canada that runs on the Visa or Mastercard network. Use it anywhere those networks are accepted, online or in-store.
Where can I buy a JokerCard in Canada?
JokerCards are stocked at most major Canadian retailers — grocery chains, pharmacies, gas stations, and convenience stores — plus select online resellers.
How do I check my JokerCard balance?
You can check your remaining balance through the official portal by entering the card number, expiry date, and the CVV from the back of the card. The toll-free number on the back of the card also reads the balance via an automated line.
How do I activate a JokerCard?
Most JokerCards are activated automatically at the retailer's checkout when you pay. If yours isn't, follow the activation URL or call the activation line printed on the card sleeve.
Are there fees on a JokerCard?
JokerCards have no monthly maintenance fees. Some variable-load cards charge a one-time activation fee at purchase. Always review the card sleeve before buying.
Why is my balance lower than expected?
Pending authorizations from gas stations, hotels, or restaurants may temporarily hold funds beyond the final charge. The hold usually clears in 1-7 business days.

Visit the official JokerCard portal to view your funds instantly. It's fast, secure, and free.
